The bathroom make-over.

Ok so I truly did plan on being a better blogger. I seem to post more on facebook than anything else, but I want to try to keep this up better also. The big problem was being so far behind that I could never catch up. So I am not gonna even try.

I did however want to share the great job Bob did on our bathroom makeover this last summer. Here are some before and after pictures.

This project started as just a hall bathroom makeover. But soon turned into much, much more. The wall had to be torn out between the hall bathroom and our master bathroom because of water damage.

That also ment tearing out the entire floor. This picture is taken from our bathroom right through (what used to be) the wall.

More of the missing floor and all the little things that one leads to the other. Like dominoes.

And yes, that is the downstairs bathroom closet door. We were all connected for a while. Privacy was kind of weird.

This one shows better how much he had to tear out. Now the floor is going back in.

Floor is repalced.

Now the ceiling is gone. That was all sorts of fun. Bob had to gather up the insulation as he took it down. What a mess.

And TA DA!!! the finished product!!!! I love this sink, and on a side note it is really easy to keep clean. Wipes up fast. I almost danced in the isle at Hobby Lobby when I saw the metal piece for the wall. It was just what I was looking for.

Also found these sconces at Hobby Lobby, and the frame for the picture that Carrie did. Isn't it neat!!!!!

We decided that the room was just too small to fight with a swinging door. So Bob put in a "pocket door". Actually this should of been first cuz it was the first thing that had to be finished before he could go any farther.

We left out the bathtub and put in this really neat shower. This will make it so that when we redo the shower in our bathroom we can make it a little bigger than it was.
