Just a friendly game of Golf?

So while Marcy was here last week we went up to the U for a little game of golf. Bob and Bobby have been going now and then for the last couple of years. So this time it was Bob, Marcy and Kim playing. I love the walk but I am not the golfing type. I hate having someone behind me trying to get me to hurry. So I spend my time taking a few pictures instead. Here are of few of our fun times.
Marcy working on the correct stance.
Kim checking for any wind that might cause trouble.
Ready! Swing! Check out the correct golf shoes here.
Bob is actually pretty good at this, he should golf more often.
The sun is just starting to go down, and the day was beautiful.
He looks like just an !nnocent bystander, doesn't he?
Who us cheat? No way!

It was a great time, wish I had pictures of all the times we have gone. The view from up there is great. Only problem is this is it's last year, they are taking out the golf course and putting in more buildings or something. We will miss our simple, fun, little 9 hole golf course.

My little brothers and I used to take golfing lessons at the Rose Bowl park... it was cool and the farthest that I got up to would be the L swing. I was going to learn something more advanced but then we moved to Lancaster... then Palmdale.

It is important to note here that neither Kim or I know what we are doing and are seriously pretending. Each look of concentration and thoughts such as "hummm, if the grass is slightly dewy and slope is at 9 degrees and the sun is in it's seventh moon, well then I will hit the ball just so.." were all acting. But as always we were having fun pretending to take something somewhat serious seriously. And it was fun to have dad kick our behinds and thanks mom for being a fantastic caddy!

Go for it!
